In our Young Executive MBA program, Thai is the primary language of instruction, used for lectures, discussions, and communications within the classroom. However, some of our materials and resources may be provided in English to facilitate easier communication and understanding of key concepts. This bilingual approach ensures that our students are well-prepared to operate in both local and international business environments, enhancing their versatility and global readiness.

Admissions

You are eligible to apply if you have a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a Thai university or an international institution of recognized standing.

  • The majority of students in our Executive Program come from non-business academic backgrounds.
  • The Young Executive MBA program is enriched by graduates from all disciplines, including Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Education, Science, Technology, and more.
  • Whether you have a background in business management or not, you will find the program fulfilling and enhancing. For those already versed in business, the program offers an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in modern marketing strategies, financial and accounting practices for entrepreneurs, and leadership in the digital age. When applying for the Young Executive MBA Program of the MBA KKU, you do not need to worry about English proficiency test scores immediately. You have the following options:

  1. You can apply to the Young Executive MBA Program without an English proficiency test score. However, before graduating, you must pass an English language proficiency test according to the criteria set by the university (don't worry, we offer intensive English courses to prepare you).
  2. You can take the university's English proficiency test before applying. You must meet the university's criteria and submit the results with your application.
  3. If you already have an English proficiency test score, you can submit it with your application. The following scores are required to meet the university's criteria:
    • TOEFL (Paper Based) with a minimum score of 470,
    • TOEFL (Internet Based) with a minimum score of 52,
    • TOEFL (Institutional Testing Program) with a minimum score of 470,
    • IELTS (Academic Module) with a minimum score of 5.0,
    • TU-GET with a minimum score of 500 out of 1000,
    • CU-TEP with a minimum score of 60 out of 120.
  • Interviews are a mandatory part of the admissions process for the Young Executive MBA program. These interviews are typically held with a panel that includes MBA KKU faculty members, administrators, and alumni. We believe that interviews offer deeper insights into the candidate's capabilities and their determination to succeed in the Young Executive MBA program.
  • The interview also gives you, the applicant, a valuable chance to learn more about the Young Executive MBA program program directly from those who know it best. It's an opportunity for you to ask questions and address any concerns you might have.
  • Interviews can be arranged not only at the MBA KKU office but also in locations outside of Thailand. Depending on circumstances and availability, these can be conducted face-to-face with our representatives or through MBA KKU's video-conferencing facilities.
  • Please note that interviews, whether conducted on campus or remotely, will only be scheduled after your application has been received by the Admissions Office.

This comprehensive fee includes:
  • Admission fee
  • Tuition for 39 credits, encompassing 30 credits of required modules, 6 credits of elective modules, and 3 credits for an Independent Study project (applicable for the first term registration)
  • Access to digital learning materials
  • University service fees
  • Student activities fees
  • Membership in the MBA Alumni Association upon graduation
  • Participation in at least 2 leadership and entrepreneurship development camps and one domestic study visit

Please note the following costs are not covered within the tuition fee:

  • Independent Study Examination Fee: THB 3,500 (approximately $97.22 USD)
  • Comprehensive Knowledge Examination Fee: THB 1,500 (approximately $41.67 USD)
  • Optional International Study Trip: Costs vary and will be offered as an elective for students who choose to participate.
  • Independent Study Registration Fee: Applicable if the Independent Study is not completed within one term.
  • Additional Module Registration Fee: For those interested in taking more than the 39 credits required for graduation.
