About MBA KKU
The Graduate School of Business Administration at Khon Kaen University (MBA KKU) represents a beacon of academic excellence and professional development in the heart of Northeast Thailand. Founded in 1994, MBA KKU began as a special project under the Faculty of Management Sciences, driven by the vision of prominent figures such as Police General Phao Sarasin, then President of the University Council, along with the support of Professor Dr. Wanchai Wattanasap, the university's rector, and other esteemed individuals. This initiative quickly evolved, gaining approval in 1997 to become an independent college within Khon Kaen University, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to advancing business education.
Housed initially in the Computer Center Building, the college later moved to the Sunthorn-Araya Arunanondchai Building, a generous donation from Mr. Sunthorn and Mrs. Araya Arunanondchai, which now serves as its main facility. This building was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, exemplifying the royal and societal support for the institution's mission.
In 2001, MBA KKU expanded its reach by offering programs in Bangkok, further accommodating the needs of professionals seeking advanced management education. This expansion underscores the college's dedication to accessibility and its role in shaping the future of business leadership in Thailand and beyond.
