Fifth-Month Merit Making, Buddha Worship Parade, and Paying Respect to Elders 2026

The event was held to preserve and continue the Isan cultural tradition of Heet 12 Khong 14.

The atmosphere throughout the event was warm, graceful, and rich in cultural meaning. Activities included the Buddha bathing ceremony, the traditional act of asking forgiveness from elders, parade processions from various faculties and units, and many meaningful moments that reflected unity, respect, and participation within the university community.

Their participation reflected the pride of MBA KKU staff and students in helping preserve and carry forward the beauty of Thai-Isan culture, while also learning the values of traditions that connect people of different generations and roles as one university community.
